What should I do if I want to leave the apartment/room before the reception/key office has opened?

Notify in advance when you plan to check out. Make sure to get any deposited passports in return. If you have paid the deposit, this can be reimbursed afterwards, when the staff has had the opportunity to inspect the accommodation.
