Photocopies of passports, driver’s license, and credit card (helps if you lose them).
Green insurance card (proof of motor insurance, available from your insurance company).
Car manual.
Insurance and health
Standby phone number for your insurance company and SOS in case of an accident.
If you are an EU citizen: a European Health Insurance Card is useful for accessing emergency care in EU countries and Switzerland.
Safety equipment (compulsory in some countries)
Reflective vest (to wear if leaving the car on a busy road).
First aid kit.
Extra bulbs.
Fire extinguisher
